Commander of Ukraine's Joint Forces Serhiy Nayev says Russia is pulling in troops to the occupied territories in Luhansk region.

"I would like to note the Russian Federation is strengthening its military units along the state border. There is clear evidence that new battalions of the tactical group have arrived at the Kadamovsky and Kuzminsky training grounds, as well as the units of the third motorized rifle division are deployed along the state border in Luhansk region," he said, Ukraine's TSN news service reports.

"Forty-four tanks were recorded in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. They were pulled to the villages of Myrne and Kruhlyk," reads the report.

"The Ukrainian military is conducting intelligence activities and is ready to fight back in case of an offensive. In particular, they have neutralized an enemy UAV spying in the Mariupol direction," the report says.
