Ukraine reports six enemy attacks in Donbas in past day
Russian-led forces mounted six attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past 24 hours.
"No Ukrainian army casualties were reported in the past day. According to intelligence reports, two invaders were killed," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on March 16, 2019.
During the period under review, the Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, an anti-tank missile system, grenade launchers of various types and small arms to attack the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Novoselivka Druha, Shyrokyne, Krymske, Novozvanivka, and Stanytsia Luhanska.
"Since Saturday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked Ukrainian positions yet," the report said.
