Ukraine reports seven enemy attacks in Donbas in past 24 hours
Russian-led forces mounted seven attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past 24 hours.
"No Ukrainian army casualties were reported in the past day. According to intelligence reports, three invaders were killed," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on March 20, 2019.
What is more, Ukrainian troops destroyed an enemy military transport vehicle, using an anti-tank missile system.
During the period under review, the Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms, attacking the Ukrainian positions near the town of Maryinka and the villages of Novo-Oleksandrivka, Krymske, Novoluhanske, and Novotoshkivske.
"Since Wednesday midnight, Russian-led forces have attacked a Ukrainian fortified position near the village of Lebedynske, using automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of the shelling. Information on the enemy's losses is being clarified," the report said.
