On March 28, Russian occupation troops seven times opened fire at the positions of Ukraine's Joint Forces in Donbas, including four times with the use of 120mm and 82mm mortars that are proscribed by the Minsk agreements, the press service of JF Operation reports.

Four enemy attacks were recorded in the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] Operational-Tactical Group. Militants fired from 120mm and 82mm mortars in the area of Hnutove; twice – from grenade launchers and small arms near the town of Avdiyivka; and from large-caliber machine guns – near the settlement of Lebedynske.

In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] Operational-Tactical group, militants opened fire three times: twice – from mortars near the village of Krymske and from large-caliber machine guns and small arms – near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska.

No enemy shelling was left without an adequate response on the part of Joint Forces, the report says. According to intelligence data, on March 28, three invaders were wounded as JF returned fire.

From day-start on Friday, no attacks were recorded on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
