JFO: Three Ukrainian soldiers wounded in Donbas in past 24 hours
Russia's hybrid military forces in the past 24 hours mounted 18 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, with three Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.
"Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the past day. According to intelligence reports, two invaders were killed and another six were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update published on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on April 2, 2019.
What is more, Ukrainian troops destroyed an enemy infantry fighting vehicle.
During the period under review, the Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms to attack the Ukrainian positions near the town of Avdiyivka, and the villages of Pisky, Novotroyitske, Lebedynske, Krymske, Novoluhanske, Zolote-4, Zaitseve, Khutir Vilniy, and Novotoshkivske.
"Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions near the village of Verkhniotoretske, using 120mm and 82mm mortars. There have been no casualties among the Ukrainian military," reads the report.
