JFO: Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded in action in Donbas April 5
Russia's hybrid military forces mounted eight attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas on April 5, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.
"Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded from 00:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time. Information on the enemy's losses is being clarified," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook.
The enemy opened fire from 120mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns, heavy machine guns, and sniper and small arms at the Ukrainian positions near the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka, and the villages of Vodiane, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Novotroyitske, Novo-Oleksandrivka, and Pivdenne.
The situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation remains under control of Ukrainian troops.
