Russia's hybrid military forces mounted eight attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas on April 7, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.

"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded from 00:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time. Information on the enemy's losses is being clarified," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook.
The enemy opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms at the Ukrainian positions near the town of Popasna, and the villages of Hnutove, Shyrokyne, Novotroyitske, Katerynivka, and Novozvanivka.
The situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation remains under control of Ukrainian troops.
