"No Ukrainian army casualties were reported in the past day. According to intelligence reports, one invader was killed and another five were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on May 6, 2019.
During the period under review, Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms to attack the Ukrainian positions near the town of Avdiyivka, and the villages of Talakivka, Pavlopil, Lebedynske, Bohdanivka, Pyshchevyk, Novozvanivka, Novo-Oleksandrivka, and Krymske.
"Since Monday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked Ukrainian positions yet," the report said.
