"During the last two days the number of soldiers of this task group has increased from 3,500 to 5,000 people," Tymchuk said.
"We have observed the militants sending small tactical groups to the front line, including a few tanks, 15-20 armored combat vehicles and several units with antitank weapons - 100mm caliber Rapira anti-tank guns or anti-tank systems on the armored vehicles," he said.
According to Tymchuk, a tactical militant group has been deployed in the Petrovskiy district of Donetsk, including about 45 armored vehicles, 11 of which were tanks. All the equipment was dispersed and camouflaged.
"Russian-backed militants continue to deploy their units in the area of the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska and Shastya. The redeployment of the enemy forces and vehicles in this direction is carried out by some company-sized tactical groups through the eastern districts of the Luhansk region controlled by the LPR militants and through the town of Krasnodon," Tymchuk said.
"During the last day we have observed the redeployment of at least 600 militants, divided into groups of 100-150 people, and about 30 armored vehicles, the main part of which, including eight tanks and 13 armored fighting vehicles, moved towards the village of Vesela Hora," he said.
