Russia's hybrid military forces on Monday mounted 10 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded on Monday. Each enemy provocation had an adequate response. According to intelligence reports, one occupier was killed and another six were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on May 21, 2019.
Russian occupation forces opened fire from 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms. Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Hnutove, Starohnativka, Vodiane, Opytne, Novhorodske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote-4, and Mykolaivka Druha.
"From midnight on Tuesday, Russia-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Vodiane and Hnutove, using hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded [on Tuesday]," the report said.
