Ukraine reports three enemy attacks in Donbas warzone in past day
Russia's hybrid military forces on May 26 mounted three attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas.
"Ukraine Army reported no casualties over the past day. Each enemy attack had an adequate response. According to intelligence reports, one invader was wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on May 27, 2019.
During the period under review, Russian occupation forces opened fire from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms to attack the Ukrainian positions near the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Hnutove and Chermalyk.
"From midnight on Monday, Russia-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions once near the village of Zaitseve, using 82mm mortars, tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns and heavy machine guns. There were no casualties among the Ukrainian military [on Monday]," the report said.
