Three Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another five were injured in the Donbas conflict zone over the last 24 hours, National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Over the last day, we have lost three Ukrainian soldiers, and another five were injured as a result of military clashes," Lysenko said.
According to Lysenko, the Ukrainian soldiers were killed by shelling, as well as a result of a vehicle going over a land mine.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on March 16, a vehicle of the Ukrainian armed forces blew up on a land mine near the village of Nyznie Lozove of the Artemivsk district.
