Russia's hybrid military forces in the past 24 hours mounted 10 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with two Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
"Russian proxy forces 10 times attacked Ukrainian positions, including five times using 122mm artillery systems and 82mm mortars proscribed by the Minsk Agreements," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update published on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 1, 2019.
The enemy also used grenade launchers of various types, anti-tank rifles, heavy machine guns, and small arms.
Under attack were the towns of Avdiyivka, Maryinka and Krasnohorivka, as well as the villages of Vodiane, Starohnanivka, Mayske, and Novoluhanske.
No enemy shelling was left without an adequate response on the part of Joint Forces, the press center said.
According to Ukrainian intelligence reports, five invaders were wounded.
"Since Saturday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked Ukrainian positions yet," the report said.
