Russia's hybrid military forces in the past 24 hours mounted 15 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
"One member of the Joint Forces was wounded amid shelling. Each enemy attack had an adequate response. According to intelligence reports, two occupiers were killed and another two were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 2, 2019.
Russian occupation forces opened fire from 122mm artillery systems, 82mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms. Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the towns of Krasnohorivka and Avdiyivka, as well as near the villages of Novoselivka Druha, Pisky, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Pishchevyk, Verkhniotoretske, and Opytne.
"From midnight on Sunday, Russia-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions near the villages of Hnutove and Novhorodske, using 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms. There were no casualties among the Ukrainian military [on Sunday]," the report said.
