Russia's hybrid military forces on June 3 mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"The Ukrainian Army reported no casualties over the past day. Each enemy attack received an adequate response. According to intelligence reports, one occupier was wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said on Facebook in an update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 4, 2019.
During the period under review, Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank missile systems, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms. Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the towns of Avdiyivka and Popasna, as well as near the villages of Novoselivka Druha, Verkhniotoretske, Kamianka, Pisky, Novotroyitske, Vodiane, and Novozvanivka.
"From midnight on Tuesday, Russia-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Avdiyivka and the village of Opytne, using 120mm mortars, tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns and small arms. There were no casualties among the Ukrainian military [on Tuesday]," the report said.
