Russia's hybrid military forces in the past 24 hours mounted 12 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action (KIA) and another one – wounded in action (WIA).

"One serviceman of the Joint Forces was killed and another one was wounded amid shelling. Each enemy attack saw an adequate response. According to intelligence reports, one occupier was killed and another four were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 6, 2019.

Russian occupation forces opened fire from 82mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and sniper and small arms. Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the town of Zolote, and the villages of Vodiane, Bohdanivka, Novotroyitske, Pishchevyk, Talakivka, Novohryhorivka, Stariy Aidar, and Krymske.

"Since Thursday midnight, there have been no attacks by Russia-led forces," the report said.
