Over the past day, June 8, Russian-led forces in eastern Ukraine violated the ceasefire a total of 22 times.

One Ukrainian soldier sustained a combat injury, according to a morning report by the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters.

Russian occupation forces seven times applied weapons banned by the Minsk agreements: 122 mm artillery, 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, and tanks.

The enemy also opened fire on the Ukrainian Army positions from weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, as well as from anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns, and automatic rifles.

Each enemy shelling saw an adequate response.

According to intelligence data, on June 8, one occupier was killed and another two – injured in action.

From day-start on Sunday, June 9, the enemy fired at the positions of the Joint forces three times. Twice, Russian-backed forces used 120 mm mortars.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian troops gained new positions on Svіtlodarska Duha bulge.
