Russia's hybrid military forces in the past 24 hours mounted 24 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, with three Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.

"Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the past day. Each enemy provocation had an adequate response. According to intelligence reports, two occupiers were killed and another seven were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 12, 2019.

Russian occupation forces opened fire from 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the towns of Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Popasna, and Zolote, as well as near the villages of Vodiane, Lebedynske, Pisky, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Shyrokyne, Krymske, Stanytsia Luhanska, Hladosove, Novoluhanske, and Pivdenne.

"From midnight on Wednesday, Russia-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions four times near the villages of Vodiane, Starohnativka, Novhorodske, and Zaitseve, using 120mm and 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. There were no casualties among the Ukrainian military [on Wednesday]," the report said.
