In particular, militants used 122mm caliber artillery systems four times to fire at the positions of the Ukrainian troops near the town of Avdiyivka on Sunday, the ATO press center reported.
"The enemy was also firing from tank guns to shell that town at 1200 and 1210 Kyiv time," the press center said.
What is more, mortars were used to shell positions near Butivka coalmine and the town of Avdiyivka, which is the Donetsk sector.
Militants used 120mm caliber mortars six times and anti-tank guided missiles three times to shell the village of Shyrokyne in the Mariupol sector.
Small arms were used to fire at the villages of Luhanske, Leninske and Shumy in the Artemivsk sector.
In total, from 0500 to 1900 Kyiv time on Sunday, the enemy violated the Donbas ceasefire 32 times.
"Strictly abiding by the peace accords, the Ukrainian ATO military forces open fire in response only. The Ukrainian side uses the weapons which were not subject to withdrawal under the Minsk agreements and only in cases when there is a direct threat to our soldiers' life," the press center said.
