Russia's hybrid military forces in the past 24 hours mounted 34 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.

"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the past day. Each enemy provocation had an adequate response. According to intelligence reports, three occupiers were wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 18, 2019.

Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Avdiyivka, Maryinka, and Popasna, and the villages of Shyrokyne, Lebedynske, Talakivka, Pyshchevyk, Vodiane, Pavlopil, Novoselivka Druha, Pisky, Opytne, Pivdenne, Krymske, Luhanske, Shumy, Novotoshkivske, Novo-Oleksandrivka, and Zolote-4.

"From midnight on Tuesday, Russia-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions once near Luhanske, using an automatic grenade launcher and a heavy machine gun. There were no casualties among the Ukrainian military [on Tuesday]," the report said.
