One Ukrainian soldier has been killed in action and another one has been wounded in action in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, since the beginning of Wednesday, June 19.

"As a result of enemy attacks, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, another one was wounded," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said on Facebook in an evening update on June 19.

In total, Russia-led forces mounted four attacks on Ukrainian troops over the period under review.

Hot spots were the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Novotroyitske, Lebedynske, and Novozvanivka.

The enemy used grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.

Ukrainian forces fired back. Information about enemy losses is being clarified, the JFO HQ said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, there were 11 enemy attacks on Tuesday, June 18, proscribed weapons, namely 82mm and 120mm mortars were used in four instances. Five Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action on that day.
