Militants fire on Ukrainian army 10 times in last day
Russian-backed militants in the Donbas have fired on the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces 10 times in the last 24 hours, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation reported on Thursday.
In particular, in the direction of Donetsk the militants fired 120mm mortars on the village of Pisky from 2040 to 2120, and at 2245 they hit Avdiivka.
In addition, the militants fired small arms on the villages of Novoselivka and Kamianka, and on the village of Shyrokyne near Mariupol.
In the area of Artemivsk, at about 0300 the militants fired 120mm mortars on the village of Troitske from the town of Stakhanov.
"In general, from 2000 on March 25 to midnight the militants fired on our positions eight times, while two more cases of violation of the ceasefire were recorded from midnight to 0600," the report says.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on March 25 the headquarters of the Anti-Terrorist Operation reported that no Ukrainian soldiers were killed but four were injured in the Donbas conflict zone over the last 24 hours.
