Withdrawal of Russian forces from Donbas "key to peace in Ukraine" – Volker

Kurt Volker, U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine negotiations, points out that the key to peace in Ukraine is the withdrawal of Russian forces from Donbas.

"A clear reminder that the key to peace in Ukraine is the withdrawal of Russian forces. Once they leave, peace breaks out, and life is better for local residents," Volker tweeted Friday, commenting on the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk from Russian forces.

Earlier today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky flew for a working visit to Donetsk region on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk.
