Russia's hybrid military forces mounted nine attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas on July 20, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.

"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded amid shelling. Each enemy provocation had an adequate response. Information on the enemy's losses is being clarified," a speaker of the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) told an evening briefing.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 122mm artillery systems, 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and rifles.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the town of Schastia, and the villages of Hranitne, Lebedynske, Pisky, Artema, and Novoluhanske.
