The most intense shelling was in Donetsk region, near the villages of Pisky and Opytne, and near the towns of Maiorsk and Avdiivka.
"Russian-backed militants fired 82mm mortars four times and 122mm rocket artillery three times on the positions of the Ukrainian army," the report says.
"Around 1800, they also fired tank shells three times near the village of Opytne."
"In the Luhansk region, the situation remained relatively calm. At the same time, at 2145 the militants fired at a fortified position of the Ukrainian armed forces near the village of Novotoshkivske," the report reads.
"At 2100, the Ukrainian army recorded a flight by an enemy drone over a fortified position near Mariupol. There was no shelling of the villages in this region," the press center said.
