Russia's hybrid military forces on August 12 mounted 10 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated an indefinite ban on the use of weapons 10 times on August 12. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 13.

The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and sniper and small arms to attack Ukrainian positions near the villages of Pyshchevyk, Shyrokyne, Novotroyitske, Pavlopil, Talakivka, Pisky, Hnutove, Zaitseve, and Mayorsk.

"From Tuesday midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions three times near the villages of Talakivka, Vodiane, and Hnutove, using grenade launchers of various systems and small arms," the report said.
