Russia's hybrid military forces on Tuesday mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries 13 times violated the [recently introduced] indefinite ban on the use of weapons on August 13," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 14, 2019.
The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms. Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Krasnohorivka and Avdiyivka, and the villages of Talakivka, Vodiane, Hnutove, Novohnativka, Novotroyitske, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, and Pivdenne.
According to the update, there were no casualties among the Ukrainian military in the past day.
From Wednesday midnight, Russia-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions near the village of Pisky once, using rifles.
