Russian-led forces mount five attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas since midnight
Spokesman for Ukraine's Defense Ministry Dmytro Hutsuliak says Russian-led forces have mounted five attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas since Thursday midnight.
"Five armed provocations by the Russian occupying forces have been recorded on the contact line since the beginning of the current day, August 15," he told a briefing.
The invaders used grenade launchers against the Joint Forces near the villages of Hnutove, Pyshchevyk and Pavlopil. The defenders of the village of Vodiane came under fire from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers. In addition, the occupiers fired from rifle-attached grenade launchers and small arms at the defenders of the village of Opytne.
"According to available information, there have been no casualties among our soldiers as a result of enemy shelling," Hutsuliak added.
