According to a report by the press center posted on Facebook, Orthodox Easter celebrations “did not stop the Russian-terrorist forces cynically violating the agreement on the withdrawal of heavy artillery from the line of demarcation, and breaking the ceasefire.”
"The most intense enemy fire was seen in Donetsk region,” the press service wrote.
“[The militants fired] 122 millimeter caliber artillery, tank shells, mortars, rocket-propelled grenades and automatic firearms seven times on our positions near the village of Opytnoye, six times near the village of Shyrokino, and four times in the area of Piskiy.”
According to the report, militants from 2025 to 2100 shelled a Ukrainian military checkpoint near the village of Trehizbenki in Luhansk region.
In addition, six reconnaissance overflights by enemy drones were recorded over the villages of Starobelska, Trehizbenka, Shastya, Novotoshkivky, Stansiya Luhanska and Sokolniki.
However, the ATO press center said that there were no cases of shelling of residential areas in this period.
