Ukraine reports one WIA amid 13 enemy attacks in Donbas on Sept 9
Russia's hybrid military forces on Sept 9 mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA).
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 13 times on Sept 9. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on Sept 10.
The enemy opened fire from proscribed 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, and small arms.
Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the town of Avdiyivka, as well as the villages of Vodiane, Novotroyitske, Opytne, Pavlopil, Zaitseve, Troyitske, and Prychepylivka.
Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked Ukrainian positions yet.
