Russia's hybrid military forces on Sept 22 mounted 15 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as sustained injuries of moderate severity.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 15 times on Sept 22. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on Monday, Sept 23.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the villages of Mykolaivka, Novohnativka, Vodiane, Lebedynske, Krymske, Pivdenne, Zalizne, Novhorodske, Mayorsk, Luhanske, Zaitseve, and Novoluhanske.

"Since midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions three times near the villages of Novotroyitske and Bohdanivka, using cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, and rifles," the report said.
