Russia's hybrid military forces on September 23 mounted 24 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 24 times on September 23. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on Tuesday, September 24.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Krasnohorivka and Popasna, and the villages of Bohdanivka, Novotroyitske, Vodiane, Pyshchevyk, Hnutove, Talakivka, Novohnativka, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Orikhove, Travneve, and Zaitseve.

"Since midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions twice near Krasnohorivka and Travneve, using small arms," the report said.
