Russia's hybrid military forces on Sept 26 mounted 23 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 23 times on Sept 26. A Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on Friday, Sept 27.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 120mm and 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, sniper rifles, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Krasnohorivka and Maryinka, and the villages of Novohnativka, Vodiane, Pyshchevyk, Novotroyitske, Mykolaivka, Novoluhanske, Luhanske, and Travneve.

"Since midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions three times near Vodiane, Travneve, and Novoluhanske, using 120mm and 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, and rifles," the report said.
