Russia's hybrid military forces on September 30 mounted 19 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 19 times on September 30. A Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on October 1.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, an anti-aircraft gun, grenade launchers of various types, and small arms. In addition, during one of the attacks, the enemy used an unmanned aerial vehicle with a suspension device for dropping grenade launcher shots.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka and Svitlodarsk, and the villages of Vodiane, Novotroyitske, Novomykhailivka, Lebedynske, Opytne, Novozvanivka, Zaitseve, Shumy, Luhanske, and Travneve.

"Since midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions twice near Novoluhanske and Novotroyitske, using 82mm mortars and rifles," the report said.
