Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters has reported about 25 attacks on its positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on Thursday, October 10.
Russia-led forces shelled Ukrainian troops, using 120mm and 82mm mortars that are prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, sniper rifles, small arms, the JFO HQ said on Facebook in a morning update on October 11.
Under attack were the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka, as well as the villages of Vodiane, Pyshchevyk, Novotroyitske, Pavlopil, Novoselivka Druha, Krymske, Khutir Vilny, Luhanske, Shumy, and Katerynivka.
One Ukrainian soldiers was killed in action on October 10, the JFO HQ said.
Since Friday midnight, Russia-led forces have violated the ceasefire twice – not far from the villages of Talakivka and Novotroyitske. No Ukrainian army losses were reported on Friday.
