Russia's hybrid military forces on October 19 mounted 15 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA).

"Russia's armed forces and mercenaries violated the ceasefire 15 times on October 19. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on October 20.

The enemy mainly opened fire from grenade launchers of various types and small arms. Moreover, the militants shelled positions of Joint Forces units near Zolote-4, using 120mm and 82mm mortars proscribed by the Minsk Agreements, the report said.

In the area of responsibility of the Skhid [East] operational-tactical grouping, the enemy fired nine times at the positions of the Joint Forces near the towns of Avdiyivka and Krasnohorivka, as well as outside the villages of Vodiane (twice), Talakivka, Verkhniotoretske, Pavlopil, Taramchuk, and Novoselivka Druha.

Another four attacks were reported in the Pivnich (North) sector near Zolote-4 (three attacks), and outside the villages of Zaitseve, Krymske, and Troyitske.

Since Sunday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked Ukrainian positions yet.
