Russia-led forces mounted 22 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on October 23.

Enemy troops shelled the positions of Ukraine's Joint Forces, using weapons that are banned under the Minsk peace agreement, namely 82mm mortars, 122mm artillery systems, as well as guns mounted on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and rifles, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said on Facebook in its morning update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on October 24.

Since Thursday midnight, Russia-led forces have already violated the ceasefire in Donbas twice. Both attacks were recorded near the town of Maryinka in the Skhid (East) sector.

The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers, hand-held anti-tank weapons, large-caliber machine guns, and rifles.

No Ukrainian army casualties have been reported over the period under review.
