Russia's hybrid military forces on Monday mounted 20 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 20 times on November 4," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on November 5, 2019.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Pyshchevyk, Starohnativka, Hnutove, Novotoshkivske, Novoluhanske, Khutir Vilny, Krymske, Troyitske, Zalizne, and Novhorodske.

Since Tuesday midnight, Russian-led forces have been observing the ceasefire.
