Russia's hybrid military forces on November 7 mounted 20 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action (KIA) and another four as wounded in action (WIA).

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 20 times on November 7. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another four were wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on November 8.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 120mm and 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Avdiyivka and Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Vodiane, Pisky, Hnutove, Opytne, Krymske, Pivdenne, Luhanske, Khutir Vilny, Novoluhanske, and Mayorsk.

"Since midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions once near Luhanske, using automatic grenade launchers," the report said.
