Russia's hybrid military forces on Sunday mounted 16 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 16 times on November 17," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on November 18, 2019.
The enemy opened fire from proscribed 82mm mortars, antitank guided missile launchers, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms.
Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the towns of Krasnohorivka and Avdiyivka, and the villages of Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Krymske, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Troyitske, and Travneve.
Since Monday midnight, Russian-led forces have been observing the ceasefire.
