"The militants fired mortars, grenade launchers, anti-tank missiles and other weapons on the villages of Pisky, Opytne, Hranitne, Krasnohorivka and Marinka. In addition to other weapons, they also fired tank shells on the town of Avdiivka and at the Butivka mine," the report says.

In Luhansk region, the militants fired on the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska, Shastya and Nyzhnioteple.

It is also reported that near Mariupol, after a relative lull in the fighting, the militants have increased the number and intensity of their attacks. In particular, they fired on the villages of Shyrokyne and Chermalyk.

"In addition to other types of weapons, on Wednesday, at about 2030, the militants fired 122mm shrapnel shells on the village of Shyrokyne," the report reads.

According to the report, the militants asked for a ceasefire six times throughout the day, but each time they were the first to violate it.

"In addition, the militants fired on residential areas and civilian facilities, in particular they fired automatic grenade launchers on the thermal power plant in the village of Shastya," the press center said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the intelligence groups of the Anti-Terrorist Operation reported that they had spotted OTR-21 Tochka tactical ballistic missile systems in the militant-controlled town of Makiivka.
