The militants also attacked once in the Mariupol area, the report says.

"For almost one hour, the militants were firing 82mm mortars on the village of Shyrokyne, but received the appropriate response and almost immediately began to ask for a ceasefire. For the first time, our military had a quiet night in the area of Luhansk," the press center said.

"During this period, the Ukrainian army recorded reconnaissance overflights by enemy drones near Smile-Krymske, Smile-Nyznie, Nyznie-Zolote, Mariupol-Milakyne, Frunze-Krymske and Shyrokyne," the ATO headquarters said.

"The militants were also engaged in barbarism – they fired on residential areas. At night, they pushed forward as close as possible to our positions and fired on the town of Komsomolsk, pretending that it was the Ukrainian military who fired on the town, which is controlled by the militants. In addition, the militants fired on the villages of Hranitne and Vodiane," the report reads.
