Russia's hybrid military forces on Wednesday mounted 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 12 times on December 25," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on December 26, 2019.
The enemy opened fire from proscribed 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Nevelske, Starohnativka, Vasylivka, Krymske, Luhanske, and Novoluhanske.
No casualties were reported in the past day.
"Since Thursday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions once near Nevelske, using rifles," the update said.
