The interview with the two wounded Russian soldiers took place in a Kyiv hospital where the Russian soldiers, both wounded during their capture, were transported from eastern Ukraine for treatment, Ukraine Today reports.

Human Rights Watch reported that the prisoners are being treated well after the organization’s officials visited the Russian soldiers’ hospital wards.

According to the Ukraine's SBU security service, the seized troops were given the mission of preparing for the seizure of the town of Shastya, where a vital power plant is situated.
