“[The militants] also fired grenades on the villages of Opytne, Novotroitske and the mine of Butivka. In addition, they fired heavy machine guns on the town of Avdiivka."
In addition, as reported, a military clash between the Ukrainian army and the militants of the DPR organization took place near the village of Berezove. The militants fired Grad multiple rocket launchers there.
At the same time, according to the press center, near Luhansk the militants fired mortars, rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and small arms on the villages of Orikhove, Zhovte, the town of Shastya, and on the villages of Triokhizbenka and Bolotne.
According to the report, near Artemivsk the militants fired mortars on the villages of Lozove, Troitske and Novozvanivka. A military clash between the Ukrainian army and a militant sabotage and reconnaissance group also took place there. There was also fighting near the village of Nelipivka.
"In both cases, our military gave a fitting rebuff to the militants, who were forced to flee," the press center said.
