One Ukrainian soldier was killed in action, another 10 were wounded in action in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on January 18 as Russia-led forces had mounted six attacks on Joint Forces positions on that day.

"One member of the Joint Forces was killed and another 10 were wounded in enemy shelling yesterday, January 18," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said on Facebook in a morning update on January 19.

The enemy used weapons banned by the Minsk agreement, namely 120mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers of various systems, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, rifles. Unmanned aerial vehicles were also engaged.

There have been no violations of the ceasefire in Donbas since Sunday midnight; no casualties have been reported since then.

As was earlier reported, the official Ukrainian army casualties in Donbas in 2019-2020 include 132 killed members of the Armed Forces, according to the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
