Ukraine reports 10 enemy attacks in Donbas on Jan 27
Russia's hybrid military forces on Monday mounted 10 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 10 times on January 27," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on January 28, 2020.
The enemy opened fire from proscribed 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms near the villages of Pisky, Novotroyitske, Lebedynske, Taramchuk, Mayorske, Kindrashivka Nova, Pivdenne, Novotoshkivske, and Bohdanivka.
There were no Ukrainian army casualties on that day.
"Since Tuesday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions near the village of Novoluhanske, using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and rifles," the update said.
There have been no reports on Ukrainian army casualties for Tuesday yet.
