De-escalation has been reported in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, as Russia-led troops mounted three attacks on Ukrainian army positions on Saturday, February 8.

The enemy used proscribed 122mm artillery systems and 120mm mortars along with grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and other types of weapons, to shell Ukrainian Joint Forces' positions, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on Sunday, February 9.

Since Sunday midnight, Russia's hybrid military forces have already fired ten 82mm mortars to attack Ukrainian defenders of the village of Lebedynske.

No Ukrainian army casualties have been reported since Saturday morning.
