According to the report, on Tuesday night, the militants fired mortars and automatic weapons on the village of Stanytsia Luhanska from the militant-occupied right bank of the Siverskiy Donets River.
The military clashes between the Ukrainian armed forces and militants continued near the destroyed bridge over the river. Shelling hit the central part of the village, as well as the districts of Stara and Nova Kindrashivka.
"During the shelling, the militants used incendiary ammunition. As a result of direct hits, three private houses were burned down on Lebedynskiy Street. This part of the village often comes under fire, and most people have gone away, so there were no casualties," Moskal said.
As of today, it is still impossible to restore the supply of electricity to the village and seven surrounding villages, Moskal said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, last week the militants cut off the power supply to a part of Stanychno-Luhanskiy district.
The main facilities in the village are provided with electricity by independent power supplies, and in the next few days several powerful generators will be delivered there in order to run the pumps to restore the central water supply.
