The parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence gathered behind closed doors on Wednesday, February 19.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry plans to build military bases in line with NATO standards in Mariupol and Sievierodonetsk in Donbas, eastern Ukraine. "One of the priorities of the new team at Ukraine's Defense Ministry is to develop infrastructure construction. We plan to build several high-quality infrastructure facilities so that everyone knows that we can also have military bases in line with NATO standards," Zagorodnyuk said.
